REVIEW
Torquay Theatre Troupe/ Angelsea Performing Arts/Three Short Plays
I have seen most TTT productions since moving here (Torquay) in 2002. Last Thursday I saw the current production, Three Short Plays, in conjunction with the APA at the Senior Citizens. It demonstrates an obvious leap in production values and polish of performance that surpasses any previous event I have attended at TTT over the past five years.
The one act dramas by the local Torquay players are both thought provoking as well as entertaining. They challenge the personal perceptions of the way we view the life experience of others, yet manage a well deserved laugh as a bonus really.
The two TTT plays are separated by the Anglesea players lifting the energy level and brain working with a rapid fire delivery that I find hard to describe but recommend you experience.
With the provision of more professional sets, lighting and crew, the Three Short Plays are definitely the best $17- spent for superb entertainment ($6.33 a performance over two hours) complimented by some flavoursome rough red at the right price in Torquay this Spring.
